Even when you ’ve been in the field for ten like I have , powerful voice in the industry will try and cave you and your valid critique just because you are challenging the status quo .
You and I have as much of a say in the future tense of AI as Sam Altman does since the technologies will impact us all and potentially will disproportionately impact people of minoritized identity in harmful fashion . the right way now , we ’re in a combat for who let to claim expertise and authority on matters of applied science within society … so we really need to claim that space and hold our ground .
