We ’re one announcement into Apple’sexciting weekof Mac reveals , and we ’ve already remove a problem . Not with the new simple machine themselves ( althoughwe have notes ) but with someone else mollycoddle an upcoming surprise .
No less a company than Amazon appears to have ( presumably by accident ) announced the fresh M4 version of the Mac mini before Apple could . AsMacRumorsnoticed , Amazon ’s U.S. product list for theM4 iMacinitially included a compare chart to help client weigh up the spec and feature film of that product against various alternative … and these alternatives let in the unreleased Mac mini .
The imminent launch of the fresh Mac mini is hardly a secret , even if Apple will be gravel at deliver its scag steal by an apparent pardner . ( The chart has since been take in down , adding to the picture that this was all a mistake . ) But the comparison chart , by its nature , contained far more information than the simple fact of the machine ’s world . Take a look :
The chart reveal , for object lesson , that the mini will be useable with the M4 or M4 Pro Saratoga chip , and that it can have a central processor with up to 14 centre and a GPU with up to 20 . It also indicated that the RAM limit has been doubled , with the Mac miniskirt soon to be available with up to 64 GB , whereas the top storage electrical capacity remain the same at 8 TB .
A small icon suggested that there will be twoforward - facing USB - C ports , and perhaps even a earpiece jack on the right side ( it ’s hard to make out what it is ) . And , perhaps most disappointingly , the chart pointed to the political machine being sold in just one color last : silver . No sign of the hoped - for Space Black edition of the Mac mini .
