For the longest prison term , Mozillawas synonymous with the Firefox browser app , but for the last few years , Mozilla has set off tolook beyond Firefox , especially as its web browser app ’s grandness continues to wane . Surman conceive that open source AI is a necessary constituent for make the next era of the net open and approachable for all — but by itself , it is not sufficient . What’s next for Firefox?
Where does all of this leave the Firefox browser app . Surman argued that the organization is very judicious about roll AI into the browser app — but he also believe that AI will become part of everything Mozilla does . “ We want to implement AI in a way that ’s trustworthy and benefits citizenry , ” he said .
