On Saturday ( Oct. 14 ) , 2023 , a rareannular solar eclipsewas visible throughout almost all of North , Central and South America , with lucky TV audience in nine states getting treat to a salient " ring of flaming " when the Sun Myung Moon blocked all but the blaze synopsis of the sun .
