Apple released an update of its iPhone operating organization from 2018 on 23 September , in which the company close up a serious gap .

The update to iOS 12.5.5 is compatible with the iPad mini 2 and 3 , iPhone 5S and iPhone 6 , first generation iPad Air and the sixth generation iPod touch .
