Archaeologists in Berlin have bring out the remains of 188 figurines that were used as reliquaries — objective that held the finger cymbals of people who were deliberate to be saint or worthy of awe .

" Both figures of saint are extremely rare in the archaeological context of the Berlin arena — and beyond — and offer a special penetration into the conservative piousness of the late Middle Ages,“Sebastian Heber , the point of the Department of Archaeological Monuments at the Berlin State Office for Monument Preservation , say in the statement .

Excavations have been ongoing at the Molkenmarkt for about five class and have unearth 100 of thousands of artifact , including asamurai steel from Japan ’s Edo period(1603 to 1868 ) that was found in rubble from World War II .
